Heroes

Author's Note: This essay will tell you how our country works together to fight for that we believe in.

Millions of courageous men and women have served and protected their country in times of conflict. Those heroic people put their life on the line to save our country and bring us freedom. It shows how much patriots care for our country, when we see all the brave people that volunteer to go fight for our country. It shows us there are people out there who care for everyone. No matter how hard some things might be for people in the army but they never give up on our country.

More than 650,000 American lives have been lost; more than 1.4 million service members wounded in battle. We remember and honor all that these heroes have sacrificed for America’s freedom. Many people have crushed hopes and dreams from trying to save our country. A lot of families have lost loved ones in war, but all the people lost in war are remembered forever as a hero and will never be forgotten throughout the history of our country. Most patriots go to war knowing there is a big chance they won’t come back but everyone hopes for the best. A lot of young men leave behind their wives and all their plans for the future for when they come back from war, often people have plans for the future that don’t always work out.

In the United States we encourage each other’s choices even though sometimes they aren’t the right ones. Anyone who leaves their life as they know it to go fight for people they don’t even know but care about just as much as people close to them in their lives are the true heroes of America. These great humans give up their life for us. Many leave their growing families to help our country. The people who fight for us are the reason why we have freedom to make our own decisions and why a lot of people can do things we would have never imagined without freedom in our country. I want to say thank you to all the brave soldiers that are out there fighting for our freedom and saving our country.
